Who am I?
Why did I choose to study abroad?
How did I end up pursuing what I beleive in?
What makes me myself?

I was born and raised in Taichung, Taiwan. My parents are open-minded. They want my brother and I to do what we love and love what we do. I considered myself as a CS person back in the day while I won several programming competitions in high school. Also, I won the world robotics contest in grade 10. This is why I chose to study abroad to the states diving into Computer Science. Not until my application being rejected by CS department 5 times, I started to think of what I truly love. Thus, I transferred from the University of Washington at Seattle to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Information Sciences is a combination of computer science, statistics, mathematics, social science and communication. Another chapter in my life is about social media. I enjoy being a content creator on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Medium, Podcasts and etc. I love the feelings when people like, comment, and share my posts. I remember the time one of my videos went viral, over 600k views were accumulated over a night. I was amazed by how powerful social media and the Internet could be.
