"Prediction of Motor and Cognitive Impairments Using Wearable Accelerometer Data in Persons with Parkinson’s Disease"

  • Separated datasets into training and testing datasets to apply basic ML to filter out abnormal peaks and use MATLAB to classify images.
  • Conducted A/B testing and hypothesis testing at alpha = 0.05 on different types of amplitude, slowness, and interruptions from wearable devices.

    "InfoMap Cluster Analysis"

  • Used DFS C++ library to iterate over 2000 dissertations' references pages to cluster similar and related contents.
  • Migrated Info map system to operate on the super computer Hyak at the University of Washington.
  • Designed Map flows between each nodes and ETL to query reference data from databases.

    "Co-built UW Physics EPE website"

  • Worked with Professor Hsu at the UW Physics department to build up the UW EPE website.
  • Conducted A/B testing and hypothesis testing at alpha = 0.05 on different types of amplitude, slowness, and interruptions from wearable devices.
  • Self-taught HTML and CSS within 20 days, and built the website within WordPress framework.

  • Worked intensively with Professor Joey Key at the University of Washington Bothell campus.
  • Analyzed gravitational wave signals across the gravitational wave frequency band.
  • Collaborated with students in different universities regarding the reseach about Laser Interferometer Gravitational wave Observatory (LIGO).
